26 March 2009: Attorney General refers Binyam Mohamed allegations to the police.
18 March 2009: Prime Minister Written Statement on Detainees, the Security Services, the Intelligence and Security Committee, and Binyam Mohamed, announcing the publication of guidance to intelligence officers during the detention and interrogation of detainees overseas; that the Intelligence Services Commissioner will monitor compliance with the guidance; that he has asked the ISC to consider developments since their Report on Rendition; and that cases of potential criminal wrongdoing will be referred to the Attorney General.
26 February 2009: Defence Secretary Oral Statement on Detainees, announcing the results of a review of detention records, and disclosing that two people captured by UK Forces and handed over to US forces had been rendered from Iraq to Afghanistan in 2004.
5 February 2009: David Miliband Oral Statement on Binyam Mohamed, following the latest High Court ruling in the case, which redacted paragraphs of its judgment relating to Binyam Mohamed's treatment due to apparent 'threats' from the US to reconsider its intelligence sharing relationship with the UK if the information was made public.
3 July 2008: David Miliband Written Statement on Terrorist Suspects (Rendition), publishing the list of alleged rendition flights sent to the US for specific assurances, and stating that no further US flights with detainees on board have landed in the UK since 11 September 2001. 21 February 2008: David Miliband confirms that Diego Garcia was used in the US rendition programme.

17 March 2006: Alistair Darling confirms 73 landings at UK airports of aircraft alleged to be involved in the US rendition programme.
20 January 2006: Jack Straw Written Statement on Rendition Allegations (Inquiries), setting out that in 1998 the US made four requests to conduct renditions via the UK, two of which were granted, and the others refused.
10 January 2006: Jack Straw Written Statement on Rendition: Additional Information, reveals a further US request to refuel a plane rendering two detainees to the US, which was refused.
14 December 2005: Tony Blair - investigating every US plane which goes through UK airspace would be 'absurd'.
12 December 2005: Jack Straw reveals two renditions through the UK in 1998, in response to Sir Menzies Campbell.
19 October 2005: The Government states that it is not aware of the use of [UK] territory or airspace for the purposes of 'extraordinary rendition'.
