FOI Request Raises Questions About Diego Garcia Weather That Allegedly Damaged Flight Records

According to the Foreign Office records, Diego Garcia received 3.25 inches of rain in the month of June, compared to an average of 5.4 inches of rain.  In response to a parliamentary question asked by Andrew Tyrie and Paul Flynn in July, the Foreign Office responded that Diego Garcia flight records had been water damaged due to 'extremely heavy weather in June 2014'.
