Lithuanian Court Finds that Saudi Arabian National Has Right to Investigation Into His Alleged Torture at CIA Secret Prison
Lithuanian prosecutors previously refused to investigate the claims of Saudi Arabian citizen Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi, who was allegedly held in a secret CIA prison in Lithuania between 2004 and 2006. The court found that al-Hawsawi's claims violations of international law and his rights under the Lithuanian Constitution. More can be read here.
